The Commerce Department report released on the 13th this year in March to a seasonally adjusted U.S.retail sales increased 0.4% qoq, showing the trend of the U.S.consumer continues to rebound.
Compared to last year, in March retail sales rose by 7.1% to 389.3 billion U.S.dollars.
Report showed U.S.retail sales rise in the month mainly due to electrical appliances, building materials, gasoline and other products to promote.In the first three months, the U.S.total retail sales increased by 8.1%.
U.S.consumer spending accounts for about 70% of total economic activity, is an important benchmark measure of economic activity, rising retail sales showed the U.S.economy recovery is improved.
