London (AFP) - Stocks in London more closed solid Friday, as Athens sought to finalize a new contract for EU rescue plan and the IMF to rescue its economy at Bay.
The benchmark index FTSE 100 top shares acquired 0.12% to 5,855.01 points.
Lloyds was the stock most traded of the day, with 212 million shares changing hands, followed by Vodafone, which has seen the 121 million shares to switch owners.
Autonomy was the best performer of blue chip of the day, WINS 3.99% (70 pence) to finish in 1825. Johnson Matthey was then adding better, 1.94% (39 pence) close to 2052.
During this time, Serco is the largest losses of the day drag 2.85% (17 pence) to finish at 580.5. It was followed by Fresnillo, falling from 1.68% (24 pence) to finish at 1404.
On the foreign exchange market, a book was worth 1.6391 dollars or euros 1.1225 the TSB to 1656.
