FTSE closes 0.86% (AFP)

London (AFP) - Stocks closed Tuesday on hopes of a second international rescue for the Greece more.

London's benchmark index FTSE 100 shares top increased 0.86% to 5,989.99 points.

"An another little bounce... as prices for investors in full expectation of another plan of rescue for the Greece next month," said analyst Simon Denham propagates Capital.

"There is little chance that they will be able to repay their bond come mid-July, where a default value is inevitable, and now they know aid is in the pipeline."

Junior euro-zone finance ministers will meet in Vienna on Wednesday to return to the Greece debt problems, including the possibility of a new aid, a European source told AFP.

Greek officials are currently locked in negotiations with the representatives of three organizations that year last to the rescue of the country with a loan of 110 billion euros ($157 billion).

Athens is a regular payment of the loan, EUR 12 billion, to pay its bills in July.

But the IMF has threatened to withhold its share of the funding without an agreement more extensive that will make the Greece debt - more than 350 billion euros - sustainable.

In London, Lloyds was the most widely traded stock of the day, with 156 million shares changing hands, followed by Vodafone, which has seen the 147 million shares to switch owners.

Metal valuable refiner Johnson Matthey has been the best performer of blue chip, increase 4.64% - 94 pence - to end at 2,119.

It was followed by Serco services group, which increased by 3.5% (19.5 pence) at the end of the day at 577.

The company, best known for the Docklands Light Railway's London operation, announced Tuesday that it must purchase outsourcing company Intelenet Indian for up to 385 million from £.

Lloyds was the worst performer of blue chip, sliding 1.44% (0.76 pence) to finish at 52, followed by the Eurasian natural resources Corporation.

The Kazakh-based minor slid 1.17% (10 pence) to terminate the 845.5.

On the foreign exchange market, a book was worth 1.1435 euros or 1.6431 $ 17.03 BST.
