Assistance of ALA. towers Sec of State ex-américaine Rice center (AP)

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama - former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice visited a donation and help in a district of the city of Birmingham House which was heavily damaged by the tornadoes.

Rice said Tuesday evening that she was deeply moved by the damage but also expressed confidence Alabamans are strong enough to pull through.

She reminded the wheel through the neighbourhood of the city of Pratt hit like a girl. She called the tornadoes last week a "very human tragedy".

Rice was born and raised in Birmingham and still has family there y. She was Secretary of State under former Republican President George w. Bush.
